Chichester Arts
The Chichester Arts Trust held its first exhibition in 1996 and was instigated by The Duke of Richmond as a part of his personal vision to see Chichester become nationally and internationally known as a “City of The Arts” by 2020. By virtue of the immense number of Arts and Heritage facilities in the immediate area this vision is already to some extent realised. These include The Festival and Minerva Theatres; Pallant House Gallery; The Cass Sculpture Foundation; West Dean College; Chichester University and Chichester College Arts Faculties; Chichester Cathedral and Chichester Festivities; Goodwood House and Petworth House with their art treasures and major international events; Fishbourne Roman Palace; The Oxmarket Gallery: The Joy Festival and many others.
